Privacy notice

This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit this website or contact us about our services.

Last updated: 25 October 2026.

Visiting the website

Our hosting and security systems receive technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, timestamps, browser details and, when supplied, the referring page. Request logs, errors and security events help us deliver the site, diagnose faults and prevent misuse.

This informational website has no enquiry form, newsletter signup or checkout.

The optional starting-point guide works in your browser on this page. The guide does not send your answers or editable note to us or save them in website storage. If you choose to copy a note into an email and send it, we receive that information as correspondence.

The general checklist does not ask for contact details or a marketing signup. Its page and PDF file are delivered through the website’s hosting and security systems as described above.

Performance measurement and cookies

Cloudflare provides cookie-free performance measurement, including page-load timing, page URLs and referral information. It is enabled with Cloudflare’s European-region exclusion setting, which is based on the Cloudflare location handling the connection.

Restricted-area access may set WordPress, Password Protected or Cloudflare Access cookies to support authorised sign-in and remember access sessions. Security checks may also use essential cookies. These functions are distinct from performance measurement. Your browser settings let you remove cookies; doing so may end an access session.

When you email us

We receive your email address, message and information you choose to share. We use them to respond, handle your request and maintain relevant correspondence. Please provide only what is needed for your enquiry, without passwords, customer records or confidential documents in an initial message.

Service providers and international processing

Namecheap provides website hosting, logs and backups. Cloudflare provides network delivery, security, bot checks, protected-area authentication and performance measurement. Google provides email routing for our contact domain.

These services may involve processing in the United States and other countries where the providers operate. You can contact us for information about the destinations and transfer arrangements relevant to your data. Providers’ own notices also explain processing they undertake for their own purposes.

Grounds for processing

Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, we rely on legitimate interests in operating, protecting and improving this website and responding to business enquiries. Where an individual personally requests steps towards a contract, we may process information necessary for those steps. We rely on a legal obligation where one applies, or consent where it is required for the particular activity.

How long we keep information

We review retention against the purpose: handling an enquiry, an ongoing business relationship, operational or security needs, and any relevant legal obligation or dispute. This applies to correspondence, technical logs and any retained cookie-preference records. We remove information when it is no longer needed. Backups are managed separately, so removal from active systems may not immediately remove a backup copy.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law and circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your information, and object to processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority.

Use the contact details above to ask a question or exercise a right. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity or understand the request. You can object to use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time.
